The History
Al Ponte Wine Cellar was founded in 1959 by Italo Castelletti, one of the first wine stewards (Sommelier) of Italy.
The
activity of the wine cellar has addressed from its origins to the search
of small wine companies that were able to producing wines and distilled
of great quality.The strong passion for the dissemination of the oenological
culture it has carried Italo Castelletti to organize numerous enogastronomic
manifestations that have contributed to increase its reputation to international
level.
Currently the wine cellar is managed by the son LUCA also him Stewards professional and Adviser of the ICE (Institute for the commerce with the foreign country), Nives Cesari wine steward with 30 years of experience and Luca's wife Scibilla.In the wine cellar are present Italian and French wines and distilled to satisfying the requirements more raffinate.In the historical section there are rare wines, some of which are of the true wine rarities.

Al Ponte Wine Cellar is placed in the historical center of Ponte San Pietro, laughing small village to 4 km to South the West of Bergamo near the Brembo river.
